Turtlepedia Fanon Wiki

There are specific regulations that a fan work must adhere to, to qualify for inclusion on Turtlepedia Fanon:

  • It must be an actual fan work: You or someone else must have produced or are in production of a fan work that can be verified. Not things you've just now thought of, not fantasy works (i.e., a fake or "idea" for a work, such as a new movie or TV show). If it's a fan game, you must have footage, a demo, or the completed product; screenshots can be too easy to fake. If it's a fan comic, there must be pages of the comic completed.
  • There must be visual representation: No fanfics or other work that have no visual representation outside of text. Comics, animations, films, games, and the like all qualify as long as they meet the previous criteria. Songs are permitted so long as they have a music video or other visual representation. If there is none of this provided, and an admin has requested it, an editor has two weeks to provide the material before the article is deleted.
  • No "edited" works: Don't just change the color hue on official artwork or post your IMVU avatar or whatever and say it's a fan character. Don't just reuse official artwork to represent "your" version of the character. No music/fan videos that set TV/movie/game/etc. footage to a popular song. It must be an original visual representation. Exceptions are video games that use sprites ripped from other sources, and sprite comics using the same.
  • This is not DeviantArt: This Wiki is to catalog fan-made works, not host them in their entirety. Don't host entire chapters of comics here, don't make fan art galleries on official characters. Use offsite links to lead users to the work.
  • Absolutely no adult material: Content is to be PG-13 at best, but try to keep it G/PG. If you aren't certain, ask an administrator.
